Our Student Council is made up of a group of students that have been elected by their peers to represent the views of all the pupils. Their voice helps to improve all of our lives in school. The students in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th classes are elected by their classes following a campaign . They make speeches and present their vision for the changes they think should happen. There are monthly meetings where the students work with the staff member who liaises with the principal. We discuss their ideas and implement those we deem suitable.
The Student Council also represents the school at any ceremonial days. They are visible to all students as they wear their student council badge. Their leadership and collaborative learning has been outstanding. They have been a credit to the school and have set a high standard for future Student Council members.

Our new student council elections took place this week and the badges were passed on from outgoing members to the new members. Congratulations to all the candidates for putting themselves forward. There could be a future in politics for many of these young people. |
School Jersey Competition
Bhí comórtas ar scoil. Another student council initiative. Every single child in the school entered the competition to design a jersey for our new school gear. Congratulations to Josh and Ciara. Looking forward to seeing these fabulous designs being brought to life.
